Receptionist/ Financial Coordinator
I love interacting with our patients, laughing with them and putting them at ease. When a patient is first starting treatment, they may be a bit unsure, and I enjoy providing encouragement to them. When I’m rewarded with a smile, it’s the best feeling! You can find me at the front desk greeting patients, scheduling appointments, discussing finances and working on marketing projects. My focus is always on our patient’s comfort, so I talk and joke with them at the same time.
I grew up in Strum and have a BS in Health Promotion Community Health. Away from the office, you’ll find me with my husband, Shawn and our spoiled beagle, Archie. I enjoy ice fishing, camping, baking, and being with my family and friends.
The conversations I have with our patients are always interesting. Sometimes they make me laugh and sometimes they make me proud, and they always make me smile. Each person comes to us with one dream: a wonderful smile, and we make that happen! I do everything I can to make sure we’re offering a friendly environment for our patients, and see to it they enjoy their visits. Whether I’m working chairside during a procedure, or taking photos and X-rays, I’m concentrating on the patient and ensuring they are comfortable and happy.
I live in Eau Claire, but grew up in Black River Falls. I love being creative and expressing myself through art. You can find me spending time with my family and friends.
It’s a pleasure to work in an office where our patients and their families, as well as my coworkers, all feel like family. It’s a great environment, with lots of smiles and laughter, from everyone here. I enjoy working with my hands in our on-site lab, pouring and trimming models and fabricating dental appliances. I also purchase all our operatory and laboratory supplies.
I grew up in Ladysmith and now live in Eau Claire. In my free time, I enjoy various crafting projects, decorating my home, and reading. I also like to snowshoe and spend time at the lake. Of course, my favorite thing to do is spoil my two Dachshunds!
I love coming to work each day, knowing my time will be spent having great exchanges with our patients and my coworkers. It’s a fun atmosphere here, and everyone is always smiling. I enjoy assisting each patient and their family by offering orthodontic and oral hygiene education during their visits. Helping people toward a healthy and beautiful smile is very rewarding, whether I’m providing chairside assistance during a procedure or working one-on-one with a patient during their visit.
I’m originally from Mondovi and still call the town my home. I live on a hobby farm with my husband Josh, daughter Emma, and my son Quin. I love being with my children, especially exploring the outdoors together. We like horseback riding, camping, and fishing.
It’s a pleasure to talk with patients throughout their treatment as they see the changes in their smile. Each person begins to open up, becoming more social and confident, as they see their teeth straighten. The best is the day we remove the braces and they see the final result! As office manager, I am in charge of human resources, overseeing financing and insurance, scheduling, accounts receivable and payables, and payroll. Yes, I keep busy!
Outside of work, spending time with my husband Eric, four children, and two grandchildren, is important to me. I also enjoy reading, golfing, and sporting events, and currently serve on my church council.
I truly enjoy every aspect of my work. It’s fun to get to know each patient and watch them become more confident as their new smile develops. The best part of my job is seeing a person’s reaction when they see their new, beautiful smile for the first time! I educate and guide patients in their home oral hygiene practices. I also remove braces and clean a patient’s teeth at the end of treatment, and I am our office OSHA compliance officer, too.
My wonderful husband Alan and I have three sons. Quality time with my family is a priority for me. When I have time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and staying fit. I currently serve on the Foundation Board at CVTC and am a 4-H leader for my son’s 4-H club, too.
Getting to know each patient is a pleasure. Each person we care for has different interests and experiences, and I love hearing all about them. I’m never sure what a patient is going to tell me next, especially our younger patients, but it’s always fun! Caring for great people, while making their smiles perfect, is incredibly great. I am the first smile you see when you walk in the door. I enjoy helping patients make appointments that fit in their busy schedules.
I come from Brooklyn Park, MN, and now live in Chippewa Falls. During my time off, I love spending time with my three adult children and five delightful grandchildren. I can frequently be found taking my dogs to our dog park, gardening, and losing myself in a good book. I also enjoy traveling.
Working with our patients and their families, making sure they have a wonderful experience at each visit, is always my focus. I love what I do, whether I’m chatting with a patient about their recent successes in school, or hearing about an adult patient’s travel plans, I always learn something new. I spend my work day with patients, taking care of them during orthodontic procedures, offering education on how to keep their teeth healthy while the orthodontia is in place, and updating them about how much closer they’re getting to their beautiful smile.
Raised in Spring Valley, I now live in Strum, where I’m raising a family, including my two sons and three step-children. The kids keep me busy and I love our family time together, especially when we can get away to go camping.
